Flagship district project
Project Power of Ponytails
Awareness. Detection. Empowerment.
Since October 2020, Power of Ponytails has restored confidence and hope to cancer patients through hair donation, awareness, early detection camps and emotional support—so no one faces cancer alone.

About the project
Power of Ponytails began in October 2020 with a simple mission: to restore confidence and hope to cancer patients through hair donation. It has since evolved into a compassionate movement focused on awareness, early detection, preventive care, and emotional support, with the belief that no one should face cancer alone.
Our initiatives
The project conducts hair donation drives, cancer check-up and mammography camps, school awareness sessions, vaccination drives, and toy donation initiatives. Its approach combines awareness, prevention, early intervention, and emotional support for people affected by cancer.
Our impact & the road ahead
The project has recorded 228 ponytails donated, 188 awareness sessions, 74+ mammography camps, and 400+ toys donated.
Moving forward, Power of Ponytails aims to expand into underserved schools, hospitals, and communities through monthly check-up camps, wellness kits for newly diagnosed patients, pediatric toy drives, awareness sessions, vaccination drives, and community-led donation campaigns.
